Black Grape Rustic Pie

This old fashioned pie is to die for with sweet flavor and bright purple grape filling.


  • Pie Crust (either pre-made or from scratch)
  • 20 ADORA SEEDLESS® Brand Grapes, halved
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup almond paste
  • 4 tbsp butter, cubed
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup of honey
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • ½ cup of raisins
  • ½ cup of chopped figs
  • ½ cup white grape juice
  • Zest & Juice of 1 lemon & 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon ground cloves


  1. Mix in a bowl: raisins, figs, grape juice, zest & juice of lemon and orange, and ground cloves. Set aside for about 15 minutes.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the pie crust in the center of the baking sheet.
  4. Add to the raisin mixture: the flour, almond paste, butter, cinnamon.
  5. Top the pie crust with the ADORA SEEDLESS® Brand Grapes. Sprinkle the raisin mixture on top of the grapes. Sprinkle the honey & orange juice on top.
  6. Cut a hole 3 inches in diameter out of the center of the top pie crust. Place top crust on top of pie filling.
  7. With the cut-out dough or extra handmade dough, cut out 1 inch leaves, flowers, or design of your choice. Layer around the opening of the pie.
  8. Bake at 450 degrees F° for about 20 minutes (make sure crust is done).
  9. Serve warm.
